The Cardinal Post is an episodic story about four siblings who encounter the paranormal and write about it, for money. It’s my homage to cryptids, southern gothic, and Americana, and filled with jokes that maybe only I find funny :)
Fletcher wakes up with an unlikely companion after asking too many questions at the vet clinic. Who is the creature, and why does she feel so connected to it?
When visiting her friends, Rose has an unpleasant encounter with some frightened locals. Between that, some creepy rumors, and the ever present lure of birthday cake, she becomes intent in solving a dangerous - and perhaps deadly - mystery.
