In case you didn’t know, I have a Patreon! I post twice a week (WIP Wednesday and Finished Fridays) so you can keep up with all the different stuff I bounce around with. Right now I’m working on creating some digital downloads, a comic starring Rose Doyle (You can see her in my comic here), and random other art pieces - fan art from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Beetlejuice, and The Queen’s Thief, some doodles, some polls, and I don’t even know what else.

The Adventure Zone

I couldn’t even BEGIN to tell you the joy and tears this wonderful, silly podcast brought me. For those who don’t know, The Adventure Zone is a podcast of three brothers (the internet famous McElroy family) and their dad playing D&D, some classic D&D, and some other systems. My favorite arc was Amnesty a story of cryptids and cyrptid hunters. It starred: Duck Newton, a park ranger who doesn’t want to fulfill his destiny; Aubrey Little, a stage magician who finds out her fire powers are suddenly real, and Ned Chicane, who runs the Cryptonomica, full of fake cryptids and local lore. Nature Hijabis

A triptych of Hijabis inspired by nature.

I love the soft colors of snow here. I had a lot of fun learning about shadows on snow, and way too much fun showering snow on all those pine trees. This is the doodle that inspired this series and I still really, really love it:)

I also varied my style in this series, which is unusual. I was kinda in an art style crisis (still am), and so I just carried out the concept with the art style that I felt like at the moment. The colors and the moss contrast were fun!

Thar she glows! Mushrooms are cool to draw, especially glowing ones. Are these an accessory? A growth? A snack? We may never know.
